Question 1

Weeks 1–6 — Qualification

The first six weeks establish handicaps and create two competitively balanced divisions. Qualification is not a separate competition and has no prizes.

• No drops; all completed rounds count.
• Teams are expected to complete all 6 rounds.
• Minimum 5 rounds to establish a qualifying average.
• A 5-round average is used only when a missed round could not be made up with organizer approval.

After Week 6: Top half → A Division · Bottom half → B Division. Divisions lock, standings reset, and VTee handicaps continue adjusting weekly.

Weeks 7–27 — Championship

Handicaps

Handicaps are administered through VTee and adjusted weekly based on league performance.

• Maximum Handicap: 20
• Maximum Plus Handicap: +5
• Team allowance: 35% of lower handicap + 15% of higher handicap

VTee applies the team playing handicap to the Gross Team Score to produce the Net Team Score used for qualification and standings. Divisions remain locked after Week 6 even if handicaps later rise, fall, or overlap between divisions.

League rounds are played through GSPro. Staff will set up or verify the designated nine, tees, pins, greens, gimmies, weather/wind and other league conditions before play. Players must not alter league settings. If something appears incorrect, notify staff before continuing.

Question 10

Team Rosters & Fair Play

Teams consist of the two registered players. Casual substitutes are not permitted. A permanent replacement may be approved in exceptional circumstances.

Players must provide accurate handicap information, record scores and CTP results accurately, use assigned tees/settings, follow technical-mulligan rules, maintain pace of play, and respect the other team sharing the simulator.

The League Organizer has final authority over scoring, handicaps, tees, mulligans, technical issues, make-ups, CTP results, division placement, and rule interpretation.

Disclaimer

Accepted Answer

Spade Mashie Golf may make reasonable changes to schedules, courses, tee assignments, simulator settings, scoring procedures, handicap administration, CTP holes, or other league operations when required due to software/simulator issues, course availability, facility operations, or other unforeseen circumstances.

VTee and GSPro are third-party platforms. Technical or scoring issues may be reviewed by Spade Mashie Golf, with the League Organizer making the final ruling needed to maintain fair competition.

Prize pools and CTP payouts are based on actual paid participation. Participation in the league constitutes acceptance of these rules and reasonable rulings required for fair administration.

Question 12

Weeks 1–6 — Qualifier

The first six weeks establish each player's base league handicap and determine division placement. After Week 6, players are ranked by their established handicap and divided as evenly as possible into:

Spade Division — lower-handicap half
Mashie Division — higher-handicap half

With a full field, each division will have 30 players. Division placement is locked after Week 6. Individual handicaps continue to adjust weekly throughout the season. Both divisions have equal prize structures and equal competitive status.

Question 13

Weeks 7–27 — Regular Season

Beginning in Week 7, players compete within their assigned Spade or Mashie Division for 21 regular-season weeks. Handicaps adjust weekly and live division standings are available throughout the season.

Three Drop Weeks: Each player's three lowest Stableford scores from Weeks 7–27 are dropped when calculating final season standings. A missed league week counts as one of the three drops. Once all three drops have been used, any additional missed round remains a zero-point score in the final season standings.

Question 14

Week 17 — Mid-Season Prizes (Feb 8–11, 2027)

Mid-season standings are finalized after completion of Week 17 and are based on each player's total cumulative Stableford points from Weeks 7–17.

No drop scores are applied to mid-season standings. Every Week 7–17 result counts toward the mid-season prize race. Missed rounds during Weeks 7–17 count as zero points for mid-season standings, though they may still become part of a player's three drops for final standings.

Total Mid-Season Prizes: $900

Winning a mid-season prize does not affect eligibility for season-ending division prizes, Overall Champion or Most Improved.

Question 15

Week 28 — Championship Week (Apr 26–29, 2027)

The final round is Championship Week. Every player's Championship Week score must count toward their final season total and cannot be used as one of the three dropped scores. Final standings are determined after completion of Championship Week.

Question 16

Missed Weeks & Make-Ups

Accepted Answer

The three drop weeks are intended to cover missed rounds, vacations, scheduling conflicts, Christmas travel and other normal absences. Each missed league week counts as one missed week, even when missed weeks are consecutive.

In exceptional circumstances outside of a player's reasonable control, league organizers reserve the right to approve a make-up round. Make-ups are not guaranteed and will be considered on a case-by-case basis to maintain fairness for the entire field. Any approved make-up must be completed within the timeframe and conditions set by league organizers.

Handicaps & Divisions

The six-week qualifier establishes the starting point for fair competition. Once divisions are set after Week 6, players remain in their assigned Spade or Mashie Division, even if their handicap later moves above or below the original division line. Individual handicaps continue to adjust weekly, allowing changes in player performance to be reflected while maintaining consistent division standings throughout the season.

Tee Assignments

The Canadian Tour uses three tee positions — Back, Middle and Forward — to provide appropriate playing distances. Tee assignment is based primarily on driver carry distance, not total distance, handicap or division. Rollout is not included when determining driver distance.

Back Tee: Driver Carry 230+ yards | Target Course Yardage: 6,300–6,600 yards
Middle Tee: Driver Carry 200–229 yards | Target Course Yardage: 5,800–6,100 yards
Forward Tee: Driver Carry Under 200 yards | Target Course Yardage: 5,200–5,500 yards

During the six-week qualifier, player game statistics will be used to help establish the appropriate tee assignment. Statistics will be reviewed across the full qualifier rather than relying on a single drive, statistic or round. Tee assignments will be finalized following Week 6.

Question 19

Ties

Regular-season ties may remain tied in the standings. For final prize positions, ties will be broken by the better gross score in Championship Week. If still tied, the better gross score from the previous counting round will be used, working backward until the tie is broken.

Live Scoring

On the VTee league page, select Start Round to begin live scoring. Both players must complete and submit their own VTee scorecard. Each player records the same team score for every hole and, where applicable, their own CTP result. Before submitting, confirm VTee matches the final GSPro scorecard.

Scorecard Photo

At the completion of the round, take a clear photo of your completed GSPro scorecard and upload it to the first photo area. This is used to verify your submitted league score.

Personal Game Stats

The second photo area is for your personal GSPro game statistics. Each player uploads their own statistics photo for their weekly round.

Before Leaving the Simulator

• Confirm your final Stableford score has been submitted.

Each player is responsible for their own score submission and photo uploads. Submitted scores and photos may be reviewed by Spade Mashie Golf for league verification and scoring accuracy.
